Towards the end of 2022, What’s Your Skirt relaunched at the fabulous Fashion Fiesta event, held in Ilkley. We launched a collection that was close to our heart, here is the inspiration behind the collection:

THE MIDNIGHT SPARKLE Relaunch Collection by What’s Your Skirt

The ‘Midnight Sparkle’ relaunch collection has been inspired by the light that is at the end of every dark tunnel. The daily steps of progression are not always seen whilst in the dark tunnel (brokenness, heartbreak, fear) but there is always a glimmer of light (love, hope, joy, peace) in the distance. A very real-life personal journey that we want to represent through this What’s Your Skirt collection. As a caterpillar is transformed in the ‘midnight dark’ cocoon, unbeknown a beautiful butterfly is being created that is full of ‘sparkle’, then flies away in freedom. This collection represents those who have used the trials and battles of life to transform them into their own beauty and bright destiny. This collection is to encourage others that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Every hand-crafted collection piece has echoed ‘THE MIDNIGHT SPARKLE’.
