Taking your body measurements is a great way to track your progress in fitness and health goals. To get started, you will need a flexible measuring tape and a pen and paper. Taking your measurements is easy and should take just a few minutes.
Waist: Start by measuring your waist at the smallest part. This measurement should be taken just above your belly button. Make sure the tape measure is snug but not too tight.
Hips: Measure around the widest part of your hip bones, making sure the tape measure is parallel to the ground.
Chest: Wrap the measuring tape around the largest part of your chest and make sure it is not too tight.
Arms: Measure both arms at the widest point, usually at the bicep. Make sure the tape measure is snug but not too tight.
Once you have these measurements, you can track your progress over time to see any changes. What’s Your Skirt loves to make skirts to everyone regardless of size, we offer up to sizes 24 in our ready to wear collection and any size with our Haute Couture service, we would love to work with you!
